ESG360° Establishes Core Team in Glasgow with £1 Million Investment

We are excited to announce that we are building our core team in Glasgow following a £1 million grant from Scottish Enterprise (SE). This investment marks a major milestone in our growth journey, allowing us to establish a strong presence in Scotland and drive ESG innovation at scale.

With SE’s support, we are building our team in Glasgow to create over 30 high-value jobs in the next three years.

This welcome expansion by ESG360° […] demonstrates Scotland’s position as the natural home for businesses operating at the cutting edge of data, technology and sustainability.”
— Business Minister Richard Lochead

Why Glasgow?

Glasgow is the foundation of our future growth. As our founder and CEO, Anj Chadha, explains:

“Establishing Glasgow as our central hub is a pivotal step for ESG360°. This grant from Scottish Enterprise validates our vision and our ability to drive real ESG impact for businesses globally. We are committed to growing our team here and leveraging Glasgow’s fintech expertise, talent, and collaborative ecosystem to accelerate innovation.”

Recent research from Bain & Company highlights that nearly 90% of business leaders across Europe, the U.S., and Asia recognise the necessity of advanced data-driven technologies to meet their sustainability objectives. Our AI-powered platform is uniquely positioned to meet this demand, equipping organisations with the insights needed to integrate ESG seamlessly into their core strategies.

Scotland: A Thriving FinTech Ecosystem

Business Minister Richard Lochhead welcomed the investment, saying:

“The FinTech sector has grown 10-fold in Scotland since 2018 and supports more than 11,000 jobs. This welcome expansion by ESG360° shows the pace is not slowing and demonstrates Scotland’s position as the natural home for businesses operating at the cutting edge of data, technology and sustainability.”

Scottish Enterprise’s support aligns with its mission to scale businesses within Scotland’s competitive industries. Reuben Aitken, Managing Director of International Operations at SE, shared:

“We are delighted that ESG360° has chosen Glasgow as the heart of its operations. The city is increasingly becoming a destination of choice for internationally headquartered fintech firms, thanks to its exceptional talent, innovation, and collaborative ecosystem.”

Collaboration and Growth

We are also excited to announce support from Invest Glasgow, which provided us with a property grant, and from FinTech Scotland, which recognised us as a winner in its ‘Shaping the Future of ESG in Financial Services’ innovation initiative.

“Working with FinTech Scotland has enabled us to engage with top-tier financial institutions and collaborate with leading academic institutions, such as the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde. These partnerships have significantly enhanced our capabilities and the impact we deliver to our clients,” added Anj Chadha.

Nicola Anderson, CEO at FinTech Scotland, said: “[…] It’s great to see ESG360° embracing fintech research and innovation focused on meaningful impact. This reinforces the role of fintech in shaping a more sustainable and resilient future and strengthens Scotland’s position as a leading fintech cluster.”
